Buspar Directions? |

If you have an upset stomach while using Buspar, take your medication with food or milk. You should be careful to use this prescription just as directed. Never take more than prescribed, or more often than directed. You should begin to see an improvement within seven to ten days of beginning Buspar therapy. It can take up to three to four weeks for the medication to be fully effective. |

Buspar Side Effects? |

Taking Buspar can cause dizziness, fatigue, weakness, vivid dreams, sleeplessness, weight gain, drowsiness, dry skin, lightheadedness, blurred vision, altered sense of taste and smell, muscle aches, ringing in the ears, nausea, headaches. If these symptoms continue or are bothersome, talk to your doctor about it. Call your doctor if you have involuntary movements or tremors, abnormal movements or "twitches" of the face or neck muscles, depression, confusion, chest pain, in coordination, or breathing difficulties. If you have other side effects not listed above, call your doctor or pharmacist. |

Be very careful when driving or operating machinery while using Buspar. Some people feel dizzy or drowsy, so you should not engage in anything potentially dangerous until you know how you will feel. Buspar should not be combined with alcohol usage. This combination makes it more likely to feel dizzy or drowsy. |

Buspar Drug Interactions? |

Buspar may increase the effects of other drugs that cause drowsiness, including antidepressants, antihistamines, sedatives (used to treat insomnia), pain relievers, anxiety medicines, and muscle relaxants. Tell your doctor about all medicines that you are taking, and do not take any prescription or over-the-counter medicine without first talking to your doctor. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may interact with Buspar. The interaction could lead to potentially adverse effects. You should discuss the use of grapefruit and grapefruit juice with your doctor. Do not increase or decrease the amount of grapefruit products in your diet without first talking to your doctor. |

Buspar Missed Dose? |

If you forget a Buspar dose, take it as soon as you remember, then return to your normal schedule the next day. Be careful not to double dose on this medication. |
